I have'nt done as many portraits of humans. My first was a sketch of Thomas Cleary, shown to the right. It was a simple pencil sketch. Mr. Cleary happened to be my first client during my management consulting career which began at Arthur D. Little, Inc. back in 1970. He continued as a client with Winbridge Group right up to the point I decided to retire from consulting several years ago. He was the CEO of a number of companies over that time and I worked with him on most of them. We became personal friends and he spent several vacations here in Annisquam. He would usually bring his grandson, Billy with him on those trips. It was Billy with whom I co-adopted the female wolf, Alyki, whose sketch is on a previous page.

Above left is a watercolor painting I did of Sherlock Holmes in his "hideous purple smoking jacket". It was done for Father Myron Bullock, our late pastor and family friend. Father Bullock was an avid reader and loved Sherlock Holmes as a boy.

Above right is a soft pastel portrait of Bob Crockett, our late next door neighbor. It is based on a photo by his son, Rob. Bob was a special gentleman who had a kind word for everyone.
